> Providing companies with a Utah crude- by-rail connection, Savage is developing a new transload terminal to transport Uinta Basin crude oil from wellheads to refinery markets across North America. The terminal, located near Wellington in Carbon County, Utah, will unload Uinta Basin yellow and black wax crude from tanker trucks into two heated tanks. The crude will then be loaded into unit trains of insulated rail cars, via two rail loops, for delivery to end-market destinations.

>PRODUCTS

 PAC Machinery introduced its Rollbag® R985 Tabletop Automatic Bagger, a compact auto bagger designed for sustainable bagging with both paper and poly materials. The automatic bagging system uses the company’s sustainable poly bags that can be made with up to 100% recycled resins and Fiberflex® curbside recyclable paper packaging. > SmartTape from Trackonomy is a disposable tape that provides end-to- end supply chain monitoring. Able to integrate into ERP systems, SmartTape attaches onto any parcel, pallet, container, machine, or physical asset. The cellular-enabled tape can monitor key conditions such as temperature, humidity, shock, and pressure. > The Eyeonic Trace scanner from SiLC Technologies can ensure precise measurement and quality control for boxes moving along a conveyor belt, even for challenging items like transparent, shrink-wrapped cases of water. It can determine height, width, and length, enabling automated robots to palletize or prepare packages for shipping while detecting damaged goods in real time.

>TRANSPORTATION

 Polar King Mobile ’s new Avalanche Series walk-in refrigerated and freezer trailers offer ground-level loading system technology. Utilizing a Sure-Trac loading system, the PKM68A, PKM612A, and PKM616A Avalanche Series trailers offer an efficient way to load and unload refrigerated and frozen cargo.

> SeaCube partnered with Greensee to launch sustainable solutions in the refrigerated transport sector. The collaboration introduces SeaCube’s Green and Net-Zero Reefer Leases, powered by Greensee’s AI-driven CO2 emissions reporting technology.  Logistics, packaging, and crating services provider TransPak, opened a 300,000-square-foot campus in Manor, Texas, just outside Austin, to serve semiconductor companies. It features temperature- controlled environments; rigging, warehousing, packaging, logistics, and crating capabilities; and

> PITT OHIO introduced a new LTL Express Lane to six key cross-border cities in Texas. Its Cincinnati terminal consolidates the freight, and routes shipments to Laredo, El Paso, McAllen, Brownsville, Eagle Pass, and Del Rio. > Yang Ming launched the India Ocean Express service (ISE), providing a direct connection from West India, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan to the North Europe region. The ISE service offers direct connections and transshipment solutions across the Indian Subcontinent, with the service routed via Cape of Good Hope. > Turkon Line , a container transportation company in Turkey, launched the India service, which offers fast transit from Turkey to India via the Suez Canal and the Red Sea. The service calls the West India ports of Nhava Sheva and Mundra.

>SERVICES

> The Port of Savannah received four new electric ship-to-shore cranes in January, bringing Ocean Terminal’s fleet to eight Super Post Panamax cranes, all designed by Finland- based Konecranes. The eight ship-to-shore cranes at Ocean Terminal have the capability to service two vessels simultaneously.
