Super Hub serves as the East Coast counterpart to GOFO’s Los Angeles Super Hub in California. The two facilities form a coast-to- coast delivery backbone, connecting long-haul freight with regional last-mile delivery. Georgia Ports started its new fast-track routing process for container vessels entering the Port of Savannah. Its lay berth option enables inbound ships—starting with the CCNI Arauco , a Maersk Gemini Service vessel (pictured) — to temporarily dock at Ocean Terminal, which is nearby to the larger Garden City Terminal and then move quickly into a berth at Garden City Terminal as soon as another ship departs.
