INBRIEF > Georgia Ports’ Ocean Terminal in Savannah expanded from two container ship calls per week to four ships per week effective May 1. Ocean Terminal also provides a lay berth option which reduces time for container ships arriving at the port and improves supply chain velocity.

> The CMA CGM Group welcomed its first Indian flagged containership CMA CGM Vitoria at Nhava Sheva Free Port Terminal, India, in April 2025. CMA CGM Vitoria serves India on CMA CGM Group’s BIGEX network, which offers direct links between India, the Gulf, and the Red Sea, performing weekly calls from Nhava Sheva and Mundra. > Sterling Transportation, an expedited LTL services provider, added New York, Philadelphia, New Orleans, and Lafayette, Louisiana, to its national network. It now offers direct West Coast service to New York City and Philadelphia. > Crowley expanded its ocean shipping capabilities in the U.S., Central American, and Caribbean markets. Copán , the second vessel in Crowley’s Avance Class fleet of LNG-powered containerships, began commercial operations from the Port of Jacksonville, Florida. Designed to transport perishable goods, retail products, apparel, and breakbulk cargo, the 1,400- TEU Avance Class ships can serve diverse container sizes for dry cargo and feature capacity for 300 refrigerated containers.

> RK Logistics Group expanded its customs bonded warehouse and foreign trade zone (FTZ) capacity in California, Texas, Arizona, New York, and Michigan. The expanded FTZs allow businesses to defer, reduce, or eliminate customs duties, streamline operations, and optimize cash flow. > Echo Global Logistics selected Wabash’s Trailers as a Service (TaaS) to grow its drop trailer program and enhance service offerings for shippers and carriers nationwide. With this new partnership, Echo expands its customized services in drop trailer freight. > International Logistics Solutions (ILS) opened a new, state-of-the-art 115,000-square-foot warehouse in Tucson, Arizona. Located close to U.S. and Mexico manufacturing hubs as well as air, rail, and ground transportation services in Sonora, the Tucson facility facilitates the

> Yale Lift Truck Technologies introduced a new pedestrian awareness camera solution, the latest addition to the Yale Reliant portfolio of active alert and assist technologies, which are designed to support warehouse safety. The camera system can identify pedestrians at ranges up to 16 feet through a 110-degree field of view and provides automatic alerts to the lift truck operator.

> Jayud Global Logistics Limited, a solutions provider specializing in cross- border logistics, launched a chartered air cargo service connecting Fuzhou, China and Jakarta, Indonesia. Designed to handle products containing lithium-ion batteries and support the ecommerce market in Southeast Asia, the service operates three flights weekly using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a cargo capacity of up to 18 tons per flight.
