Ideal for pick- and-place tasks, materials handling, assembly, and inspection processes, the robots’ new ceiling-mounted configurations help to reduce obstructions and improve worker safety. > Shiplify launched its self- service product, designed for shippers looking to optimize their less-than- truckload (LTL) processes. Shippers get access to the same detailed location data used by most LTL carriers. The self-service solution simplifies LTL shipping with features like location data for dock and forklift identification, location types, and lumper details.
> Anacostia Rail Holdings (ARH) adopted RailPulse rail car telematics to enhance service levels, visibility, safety, and ef ciency for shippers. Anacostia’s Chicago South Shore and South Bend Railroad (CSS) subsidiary is the rst ARH railroad to install the telematics units supported by the RailPulse open-architecture railcar platform on 100 recently delivered rail cars.
