> The new EFFER iQ.950 HP heavy loader crane from Hiab, part of Cargotec, lets operators perform a wide range of vertical and horizontal lifting jobs safely and precisely at high speeds. The multipurpose crane’s dimensions and weight make it suitable for installation on several trucks.

> Gebrüder Weiss continued its U.S. expansion with a new warehouse in Elgin, Illinois. The warehouse is part of a larger expansion in the Illinois area and brings an additional 106,000 square feet of space to the company’s Illinois footprint. > The Georgia Ports Authority will construct seven additional refrigerated container racks at Garden City Terminal in Savannah, for a total of more than 3,500 plugs. > Aeronet Worldwide’s Newark, New Jersey, station moved its operation to a larger facility, doubling its warehouse capacity. The move provides additional space for e-commerce

fulfillment and distribution services. The new facility is located 21 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport. > ITS Logistics added a third warehouse to its existing campus in Whitestown, Indiana. ITS’ Midwest operations now total more than 1.3 million square feet of distribution space. > ContainerPort Group, a carrier specializing in drayage solutions, expanded services in Philadelphia with additional freight capacity and increased driver support. Customers can now reach nearly 41 million people within a 150-mile radius of the port.

> APM Terminals Mobile in Alabama is expanding its rail infrastructure capabilities, planning additional tracks, rail yard storage space, and improved access from the berth to the railyard. The planned $60-million rail expansion doubles cargo capacity. > DHL relocated its Carson,

the company’s X-Swarm intelligence. The compact vehicle can transport loads with a maximum weight of 661 pounds to a maximum lifting height of 10 inches. > Packsize launched the X5 solution, an automated system that produces ready-to-pack boxes for high-volume e-commerce applications. The machine cuts, creases, glues, erects, and labels right-sized boxes for automated output onto a conveyor, cart, or packstation. It makes up to 600 boxes per hour.

California, pickup and delivery operation to a

service center in Redondo Beach that is 60% larger than its previous facility. The larger service center can process up to 3,775 pieces per hour, handling both U.S. domestic and time-definite international shipments.
