The system manages 1.6 million shoe units across two warehouses in Spain, supporting online, retail chain, and franchise fulfillment from a single platform. • Medvantx opened a new pharmacy inside UPS ’ s Louisville, Kentucky facility, more than doubling its local footprint and tripling cold-chain capacity for nationwide medication and medical device fulfillment. Developed with UPS Healthcare and pharmacy automation firm iA, the facility offers direct access to UPS’s Worldport global air hub. • Korrodin , a German wholesaler of screws and fastening technology, is building a new distribution center near Nuremberg. It will include a three-aisle automated small parts warehouse of 40,000 storage locations and a 4,000-pallet manual warehouse. Klinkhammer Intralogistics is building the automated system.

Avatar Robotics raised $6.5 million in seed funding, led by AlleyCorp, to expand its humanoid robot workforce for warehouses and factories. The startup pairs remote human operators with AI solutions to handle picking, packing, kitting, and sorting tasks.
