A CL has been a specialized transatlantic carrier, since 1967, transporting containers, project cargo, roll-on/roll-o (RORO), high and heavy cargo, breakbulk cargo, heavy equipment and vehicles with the world’s largest combination container/roll-on/roll-o vessels (CONRO). ACL operates the only weekly combination container and roll-on/roll-o service on the transatlantic trade serving North Europe and North America with weekly direct port calls at Liverpool, Hamburg, Antwerp, Halifax, New York, Baltimore and Norfolk. ACL’s corporate sta is based in the USA, Sweden, UK, Belgium and Germany. Each of ACL’s five vessels has a container capacity of 3,800 TEUs, plus 28,900 square meters of RORO space and capacity for 1,300+ vehicles. Every container is secured in a unique steel cell guide racking system— always safe and locked in place. There are no containers lost, no lashings to break. RORO cargo is transported in a safe, secure, enclosed garage. The vessel’s 420 ton quarter stern ramp has a maximum single piece weight capacity of 260 tonnes and main deck clearance of 7.45 m.
